Dancing Ghosts By C.T.I.

C.T.I. stands for Creative Technology Institute. The band members are Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti. The first version of Dancing Ghosts that was released was on a video called Elemental 7 in 1983. A year later in 1984, CTI released an album called "Elemental (The Original Soundtrack" which also featured Dancing Ghosts.

The Music Box

This track was released in time to be played at the Music Box. In Music Box track listings, it's typically listed incorrectly as Elemental 7, due to the video and album name. It's not clear whether Ron Hardy played the album or the video, but it's more likely to be likely to be the album.

A Proto Acid Track

This is one of the early 303 tracks to resemble acid, however it sounds more like an IDM ambient acid track from the 1990s (e.g. Aphex Twin) than a Chicago Acid House track. The main influence on Acid House is likely The Playground, which pioneered the use of minimalist beat tracks and created permission for minimalist Chicago producers of the mid 1980s.
