Chicago Lofts And The Warehouse

The original release of Soul Makossa was a 7" single release. The track was re-released in 1976 on 12", which made it much more DJ friendly and also more widely available. By this time the track was an anthem, meaning it was played at Chicago loft parties and The Warehouse when it opened in 1977.
